Just got back from Order of the Phoenix!

Let me start by saying the movie's good, one of the best of the HP movies, but, naturally, not as good as the book.

Luna was perfect! Harry's of course the heart and soul of the series, but I'm starting to think that Luna and Neville (who keeps getting better with each book/movie) are the faith.

Tonks was good, but the movie definitely needed more of her. I hope she's in at least one deleted scene. Bring on the DVD! Lupin should've had a bigger role too.

Love the "Snape's Worst Memory" scene, but damn, that was short. Young Snape really does resemble Adult Snape.

The twins leaving Hogwarts was great, especially all those damn rules falling down. But what I loved just as much was them trying to cheer up the boy, who couldn't have been more than a first-year, who had to do lines.

Umbridge was appropriately evil (though I wasn't crazy about the "hemhem" turning into a giggle).

Loved the fight in the Ministry, especially the Death Eaters and Aurors becoming black and white smoke. And all the prophecies shattering in a domino effect. There was a moment, right after Bellatrix (who worked the glam goth look) shouted "Avada Kedavra" that she missed Sirius, right before he fell through the veil. Yes, I did read the book, but I forgot it for a moment.

Bellatrix was appropriately nuts, though I think HBC is too pretty for the character.

This should come as no surprise to anyone, but I love the thestrals! They're like a cross between a horse and a dragon. I want one!

In short, I would've happily sat through another hour of this movie if it meant the members of the Order got more screen time.
