Cake Smash, reviewed 9-28-09
Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting against a backdrop of Snake Oil, Dorian, and Doc Constantine!

In the bottle and wet on my skin, Cake Smash is strongly cream cheese frosting over red velvet cake. I think I'm in love! Dry, the cake and frosting take a step back and Snake Oil and Dorian start to come through as well. This is fabulous.

Frederic, reviewed 4-20-08
Victorian whimsy and piratical romance: a reluctant seaman’s chypre sloshed with a mix of bay rum, patchouli, amber musk, dark woods, tea rose, and red currant. (for Leap Day '08)

Wet on my skin, Frederic is rum, musk, and woods. Dry, there's also a hint of tea rose and currant. This is gorgeous.

The Gladdener of All Hearts
Honeyed milk, baby powder, lavender, orris root, sage, carnation, angelica, frankincense, and rose otto.

Wet on my skin, The Gladdener of All Hearts is lavender, sage, and carnation (heavy on the lavender). Baby powder starts to come through as it dries. This isn't me, but I do like it.

Hony Mone, reviewed 1-21-08
Three honeys blended with seven fruits, flowers, and herbs of passion, pleasure, and joy: honeysuckle, fig, carnation, apricot, jasmine, tonka, and almond. (A Little Lunacy for Beth and Ted's honeymoon)

On me, Hony Mone is honeysuckle with a base of honey and a hint of almond. It's lovely and definitely better suited for the warmer months.

Irrelevant and Disturbing Surreal Crawdad Dream, reviewed 8-01-08
An irrelevant, disturbing, and surreal scent: red currant, green tea, red musk, Hawaiian ginger, benzoin, vanilla, coriander, squash blossom, and blueberry.

In the bottle, Irrelevant and Disturbing Surreal Crawdad Dream (I love that name) is just blueberry, and very yummy. On my skin, it's tea, currant, and blueberry, in pretty much that order. This is nice but I'm hoping age will make it better.

Lady Lilith, reviewed 9-29-08
Climbing rose, vanilla cream, vanilla flower, white tea, mandarin, red and white musks, opium poppy, Parma violet, and opoponax.

On me, Lady Lilith is tea, cream, and vanilla flower with maybe a hint of red musk. I like it, and I think it'll age beautifully.

Lilith Victoria, reviewed 10-02-08
Snake Oil blended with Dorian, plus soft vanilla flower, lily of the valley, lavender, and fennel.

On me, Lilith Victoria is lavender, lily of the valley, and vanilla flower. I don't get Dorian and Snake Oil at all, but I'm not complaining -- this is so sweet and pretty.

The Phoenix, reviewed 10-25-07
Sea air, gunpowder, lime, salt-crusted wood, a splash of blood, and a dribble of Snake Oil. (A Lot of Lunacy for Beth and Ted's pirate wedding)

On me, The Phoenix is salty ocean air (hello, Mary Read!) and lime with a hint of wood in the background. I like it and I'm really glad I got a bottle.

Pirate Moon, reviewed 10-26-07
Red musk, ambergris, coconut palm, red sandalwood, balsam, date, warm leather, tobacco, ebony, lingum vitae wood, pandanus grass, an' a touch o' lime. (A Little Lunacy for Beth and Ted's pirate wedding)

What I get from Pirate Moon is coconut palm over red musk with a hint of lime. It's nice but not something I'll wear often.

Sprinklecake, reviewed 10-21-11
Rainbow sprinkles baked into rich vanilla cake with thick, creamy frosting topped with glittery candy flakes.

On me, Sprinklecake is just strawberry hard candy. It's cute, but I'm hoping age will bring out the cupcake.
