What are the three books you'd like to see filmed (movie or mini-series)?
Also, what is the one book you love but know it would not make a good movie?
The three I want to see filmed are:
Hidden Riches by Nora Roberts. Knick-nack store owner and her former cop neighbor find themselves involved in an art/antiques smuggling ring.
Stardust of Yesterday by Lynn Kurland. Out-of-work decorator finds she's inherited a castle, and the sexy ghost that comes with it.
Cry For The Moon by Anne Stuart. Young widow with two small children inherits crumbling mansion-turned-apartments and the misfit tenants who live there.
As far as a book I love that wouldn't make a good movie, I'd have to say The Merchant of Marvels and the Peddler of Dreams by Frederic Clement. Well, it could be a good movie, but the screenwriter would have to be very careful. There's, for lack of a better word, magic in the book that probably wouldn't translate to the big (or small) screen.
