What a day

All The News That's Fit To Type, vol. 1 iss. 10
Personal: Well, I got my fillings today. Two silver and one resin, and all I had to pay was $50, which means my dental insurance is a lot better than my medical insurance.

Family: Mom comes home from New Orleans tomorrow. Patty has this kind of walkman where she can listen to the baby's heartbeat. I got to listen to it while we were waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean to start last night. It was cool!

Local: Looks like the government is being a killjoy for two of the Henry Doorly Zoo's residents. Authorities prevented two South African female brush-tailed porcupines from entering the country due to the monkeypox scare. So, the zoo's two male brush-tailed porcupines are going to have to entertain themselves for a while longer.

National: A man in Arkansas recently woke up from a 19-year coma. Two things come readily to mind. One, he'll get to know the modern wonder that is the Internet. Two, he'll get to know the modern terror that is pop-ups.

International: Bush is still on his African tour, and I'm sure there are plenty of Democrats who wish he'd stay there.
