I knew today was going to be weird when the front doors on all three floors at work wouldn't let me in. Thankfully, somebody already there let me in, about twenty minutes after I first arrived.

MJ Java (a local coffee shop chain) was at work today giving out free coffee. Normally, I wouldn't touch coffee with a ten foot pole. I've always found it too bitter. But, since it was free today, I decided to try a Caramelicious. Their site (www.mjjava.com) is currently down, otherwise I'd tell you exactly what's in it, but I think it's like Starbucks' caramel macchiato (sp). All I know is that Mom drinks both but she likes the Caramelicious better. Anyway, I found out today that the Caramelicious is one coffee drink I like. I wouldn't drink it every day, but definitely once in a while.

Note to self: Do not even look at Hallmark's display window when you're on your way to Baker's.

Patty was over last night. Mom and Dad were babysitting Kalob and Justice while Patty and Mark were at the military recruiting place not far from our house. Mark wants to go into the Navy and Patty wants to go into the Navy Reserves. Anyway, Mom thinks they're on-again, off-again. Yesterday, they were on. Today, who knows? Patty was actually nice last night. Well, to Mom, anyway. I don't know how much she interacted with Dad. Patty didn't say anything to me. I'm embarrassed to say that when I first saw her, my initial reaction was to hide. I'm not the one who fucked up (literally), she is, so I have no reason to hide. Patty certainly didn't look sorry about anything she did. I have to wonder if her conscience is working at all.
