This explains why even a tall Starbucks Caramel Macchiato w/ whipped cream makes me jittery -- it's espresso with milk (and a lot of sugar when you consider the whipped cream and caramel). I wonder if Mom is aware of that. I doubt Starbucks makes a short Caramel Macchiato, but I guess I can always ask. I'm sure macchiatos don't come in decaf, since I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a decaf espresso.
