(no subject)

Finally watched The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy yesterday. Now I understand some of what the fans are talking about. Loved Marvin (it's great how one character can be played by two awesome Harry Potter actors), Arthur, and the dolphins' song. I know that'll get stuck in my head sometime soon.

What really surprised me was seeing Anna Chancellor's name in the opening credits. I hadn't seen her in anything since she played the nasty Miss Bingley in A&E/BBC's Pride And Prejudice. IMDb has a lot of info on her. Hey, firelion, did you know she's Jane Austen's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great niece? And that she's playing Irene Adler later this year?

My recap of the Golden Globes™ will come later, once I can find good pics.

I truly think she dressed in the dark.

A sapphire among the diamonds.

You're a movie star, I think you can afford a comb.

Old Hollywood glam, and the jeweled orchid didn't hurt.

He did not take off his sunglasses all night, even in the auditorium.
