Underwire bras have to be the most uncomfortable and downright evil things known to woman. ($5 says a man invented them.) Unfortunately, my regular bra won't work with the dress I'm wearing to Easter Vigil Mass tonight, so I really don't have a choice.

While I'm ranting about girly things, I just want to say how completely unfair it is that "that time of the month" messes with my hormones to the degree that BPAL doesn't smell right on me. Thankfully, it's not that time now, or I'd really be in a snit. Still, spending 5 days (give or take) a month where all I can do is try on (then immediately wash off) all my spice frimps gets real old real fast.

Speaking of BPAL, when I first tried Centzon Totochtin, I thought I'd wear it today or tomorrow, since you know, chocolate bunnies. But no, today I'm wearing Hanami (Asian florals) and tomorrow I'm wearing Sugar Moon (sugar cane, etc.). Maybe I'll wear Centzon Totochtin tomorrow. I'm putting myself on a BPAL-free budget, so the Worm Moon order I placed on Thursday will be my last for a while (not counting any I can get with gift cards).

It's not like I'm going to run out of new scents to try any time soon -- I have scads of imps left to try. Plus Frederic and Faiza, which I'm trying next weekend (hormones permitting).

Yes, underwire bras are evil. Also? BPAL is awesome evil. After I dug through my imps to find Dana O'Shee for St. Patrick's Day, I got sucked back in and placed a new order for:

Tintagel, Uruk, Katharina, Miskatonic University, Frumious Bandersnatch and Port Royal.

The sad thing is, I always have to read the ingredients to make sure I even like the scent description, because sometimes I order based on the fact that the name is Lady of Shalott which gives me warm fuzzy Anne of Green Gables reminiscences...*facepalm*

Fortunately, I liked the Lady of Shalott scent.

I have to drag myself into the shower and then get ready for Easter Vigil - I've never been on the choir side of things during Lent/Easter, so this has been quite an experience. Very very crazy!

BPAL is definitely evil, but in the very best way.

Tintagel and Uruk burned on me and I haven't tried Frumious Bandersnatch, but Katharina, Misk U, and Port Royal I love.

I haven't bought many based on the name alone. My skin is so damn sensitive that I have to look at all the notes. It's gotten to the point where I'm going, "Good, good, amps, morphs, burns, good."

Ooo, I haven't tried Lady of Shalott, but I heard it's good.

Yeah, I'm sitting here in my slip (full slip for the first time in my life) and I'm singing in the choir tonight too. I can't remember the last time we did Easter Vigil.

Have fun!

A) Get a bra fitting.

B) Uruk is very very very good. Also liked Tintagel very much. I'm still not at a BPAL purchasing stage in my life, and I am sad, but it's okay. Tara makes it okay. :)

A) I know, I should.

B) BPAL charity makes everything okay. :-)
