Well, my apartment passed inspection. One less thing to worry about.

Finished reading Black Rose (Book 2 of Nora Roberts' In The Garden trilogy) and started reading Red Lily (Book 3) last night. I can't remember the last time I tore into a series/trilogy this fast. It's probably because when I do get into a multiple-book set, 9 times out of 10 I start with the first book when it just comes out.

I liked the bookstore couple. (Did they remind anyone else of Joe and Kathleen from You've Got Mail?) I didn't like that Xan slept with that author. I don't care if he's her favorite, he's not the guy she's in love with. There was hardly any Leo in this episode. Poor little Hercules. I liked that they called the flakjacket (sp) an aegis ("The shield or breastplate of Zeus or Athena, bearing at its center the head of the Gorgon." from dictionary.com), but I don't like that Ray made it vulnerable. Yes, Ray hates Ari, but doesn't he realize that if any of the Olympians die, whoever's after them has that much more of a chance of winning? Yay for Grace standing up to Ari, though her threat was a little ... graphic for primetime television, IMHO. Kate got the short end of the stick in this ep too. Still hate Phoebe, but she was less annoying in this one (after she turned down the giddyness). Also liked that Ari and Danny mentioned Zeus, though not by name. I would love to see him on the show (though what would he call himself?). Hera too, considering she's Ari's mother, Grace's stepmother (if you agree with the Zeus/mortal woman parentage, instead of the Uranus/The Sea parentage), and Danny's grandmother.

Finally opened a savings account Saturday. *cheers*

In Saturday's mail was another Republic of Tea catalog. They always come with a free sample, and this time it was a bag of Pomegranate Vanilla Red Tea. I. Was. In. Heaven... *happy sigh* Gotta get me some more of that.

Sometime this week, I'll post about my team's Halloween decorations.
