Just finished reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. If you can keep an open mind about zombies invading Austen's book, then P&P&Z is the book for you. There are a few additions I could've done without, but I won't spoil them. I think Jane Austen would've liked this book, if only because it'll probably get more people to read the original. Funnily enough, Bobby's also reading P&P&Z (he read the original in high school). I'll have to ask him how he liked it when he comes next month.

I'll admit it, I bit off more than I can chew when it came to Melissa's birthday present. Therefore, that one will be her Christmas present, and I've started a smaller, less complicated one for her birthday.

Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters

I just saw that you read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies – I'm glad you liked it! I’m with the publisher, Quirk Books. I don’t know if you’ve already heard, but we announced our second title in the Quirk Classic series: Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. In this next mash-up, man-eating sea creatures terrorize the characters of yet another Austen masterpiece. Check out the Sea Monsters and the Quirk Classics Facebook pages to find out more...

So, if you were open to zombies invading Austen's prose, how about giant squid? Or is that pushing it?

Thanks again, and happy reading!

Re: Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters
I'm very excited about Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters! I'm sure it'll be just as good as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and I hope Quick Books tackles Emma next.
